Explore the possibilities of clay! Build a basic understanding of clay and hand-building techniques, like coiling, pinching and slab building. Learn how to apply glazes and acrylic paints to complete your artwork. Our professional instructor will guide you through your ideas to achieve your best result.

Clay, firings, acrylic paints for the sculptures/clay & studio tools are provided in class.

This well-balanced class is designed to introduce students to all formal elements and principles of art while encouraging individual creativity. Each class, the instructor will hold a step-by-step tutorial to demonstrate the selected technique of the month. The students will then be allowed to expand on the instructor's teachings, creating a more unique piece that is completely original.

This is a great fundamental class into the world of animation and perfect for students who are interested in 2D animation and novice animators. Students will be taught basic principles of animating as well as learning the basics of digital drawing on Procreate. By understanding the foundations of drawing and animation, students will be able to animate simple forms and characters. Students will have the opportunity to create their own unique animations!

*Students must supply their own hardware (i.e., tablets, stylus pens, etc.) and bring all charging devices to every class. For best results, pressure-sensitive pens are highly recommended but not necessarily required. 

*Students must use the Procreate app ($12.99 download in your device's app store) in order to properly follow along with the instructor.

Online class will be using Zoom Application, login information will be provided to registered students.

Students will explore a wide variety of 2D and 3D art projects in using different materials, such as polymer clay, mosaic tiles, paper mache, plaster, and fiber art. The course will focus on encouraging self-expression while also introducing the formal elements of art and principles of design. Students have an opportunity to discover hidden talents and allow their creativity to shine!
