Explore the possibilities of clay! Build a basic understanding of clay and hand-building techniques, like coiling, pinching, and slab building. Learn how to apply glazes and acrylic paints to complete your artwork. Our professional instructor will guide you through your ideas to achieve your best result.

Clay, firings, acrylic paints for the sculptures/clay & studio tools are provided in class.

This well-balanced class is designed to introduce students to all formal elements and principles of art while encouraging individual creativity. Each class, the instructor will hold a step-by-step tutorial to demonstrate the selected technique of the month. The students will then be allowed to expand on the instructor's teachings, creating a more unique piece that is completely original.

For use of studio materials, there is a $70 Supplies for Class fee per student per School Year.

Explore the possibilities of painting in a professional setting! This class is perfect for Teens who love to paint and are looking to improve their artistic skills. In this class, students will choose their own projects and be guided in the completion of each project. Students work primarily with oil paints, but they have the choice of working with other mediums such as watercolors and acrylics.  All skill levels are welcomed and will be guided to success! Perfect for those who would like to create one-of-a-kind artwork. Additionally, this is a great class to build your academic portfolio in!

Students will be guided through longer-term projects focusing on accuracy to achieve more realistic results. Throughout the year students will be using various pencils, charcoals, soft pastels, and colored pencils.

This class builds upon foundational drawing and digital art skills to introduce the world of animation art! Students will expand their artistic abilities by creating original digital illustrations while learning animation concepts and techniques. 

Emphasis is placed on developing confidence with digital tools and character design concepts while preparing students for more advanced animation projects. Perfect for students who have learned digital art and are ready for the next step!

*Students must supply their own hardware (i.e., tablets, stylus pens, etc.) and bring all charging devices to every class. For best results, pressure-sensitive pens are highly recommended but not necessarily required.

Use your iPad to learn the fundamentals of digital art! Students are guided to create a new drawing using digital tools and techniques, improving their digital drawing skills. Every month, students will focus on a different theme and complete their own unique artwork. 

In this class, students will learn how to draw and color, apply layers, and how to save and share their artwork.

*Students must supply their own hardware (i.e., tablets, stylus pens, etc.) and bring all charging devices to every class. For best results, pressure-sensitive pens are highly recommended but not necessarily required.

Through drawing, painting, sculpting and mixed media students will be introduced to different elements and principles of art. Studio H strives to encourage individual creativity and this class does just that! Each class, the instructor will hold a step-by-step demonstrations of the group project to guide them through the artwork. The students will then be allowed to expand on the instructor's teachings, creating a more unique piece that is completely original.
